Aslan

Thought you might like to know that Aslan settled straight away. He is a very affectionate little fellow and loves to curl up beside me when I am sitting on the settee. He pushes his head into my hand for me to rub his face, purring away .He enjoyed watching Winter Watch, particularly the foxes !!!and of course enjoys looking out of the French doors at the squirrels and birds. It is great to have something to come home to that greets you as if he is pleased to see you. I am so pleased you told me about him. So pleased that margaret who rehomed my neutered stud cat has kept in touch with how things are going with them.

Peace

What an amazing week! I was contacted by a couple who now have one of my rehomed girls! The darling Peace! I was so sad to have to rehome here several years ago after she had a very unfortunate incident during her first pregnancy which ended up with her being neutered. She never got along with Precious and the other indoor cats so my only option for her happiness was to find her what I thought was going to be her forever home , sadly that didn't work however her tale has a very happy ending.
She is very much adored in her now forever home with Claire and Ben.
She celebrated her 10 th birthday on the 4 th of February .

I am looking for permanent loving home for Elphie. She is a very large Blue point girl, one of Joy's babies of 3 years ago. She has a a difficult time of it recently as she has been moved about , so it takes a little time for her to have confidence with new people . However it is worth the effort as she has lovely nature and just wants to show affection and be a lap cat and will follow you around adoringly when she knows youUnfortunately due to a relationship break up she now needs re-homing. She need a home as a sole pet , as she is unhappy with other animals  around her. If you would like to come and meet her drop me an email tanya@tzkatz.co.uk or give me a ring 01354680038.

Levi ( now Squirly) Oakley and Missy

Levi , blue mitted and Oakley , seal Mitted were Precious' only ever kittens they had been living with Charlie, all  adored each other. However when they were nearly six, Last year, Charlie's husband got a job abroad in the middle east and due to quarantine rules, that meant when the returned to UK the boys , who would be about ten,  would have to stay locked up for six months . It was decided a new home would be best for them. Natasha, the adult daughter of a dear friend of mine, wasn't very well and was facing long term time off work fell in love with them and took them on.
Then this year when Missy , a Blue Cream mitted Tortie, one of my breeding queens, was spayed  and needed a retirement home ( as she wasn't happy fitting in with the indoor crowd ;She had been an excellent mother to her kittens but very protective, so all the indoor cats were scared of her! )Natasha who had always adored her decided to see if she would fit in with the boys. Which to every ones delight she has and loves being part of their family. They have helped Natasha through a very difficult time in her life.

Pippin

Pippin, A very handsome seal mitted boy, came back because he was showing signs of distress by being dirty around the house. It all started with him using the bath as a litter tray when a new puppy arrived but soon got out of hand , the final straw being when he poohed on the man of the house's toothbrush! Although very much loved it was decided it would be best to find him a new home. I meet Chris when he came with his mother to view some kittens, I explained all the issues and that Pippin had .Including the fact that he wasn't keen on  men or dogs, but Chris was in love and decided to give it a try. To cut a long story short he went to live with Chris and his partner James! They have never had any issues and they are a very happy family even going to visit Pat and her Ragdolls.

Peace

18.9.09 was a sad day for us as our dear Peace has had to have an operation, as she had a mass in her abdomen, which turned out to be a mummified kitten and her uterus was full of pus ,so she is a very lucky girl that she had not to suffered any peritonitis symptoms and be dead! However, they did have to spay her because of this. Derek has collecting her and the dead kitten ,so I can bury it , can't bear the thought of the poor little thing being chucked away with the rubbish. Then we had to concentrate on getting her up to strength again and start her in her new life just as a pet . But as she is only two she would be able to cope with it all. She went to a mother and son in Cambridge where she became know as Sophia Loren!

Hendrix AKA Tinker!

Hendrix was the first of my kittens I had to re-home he came back to me at about a year old. He was one of KT's first litter, Dora's brother. He had gone to a home with a Norwegian Forest cat and when he was big enough he had started to bully her. One day he made her sit for hours in a corner ! It was with much regret and tears he was returned as obviously he need to live alone. My mother-in-law came to visit and he decided she was the one, she didn't really have much say in the matter as he refused to leave her lap or her side the whole time she was here until she agreed to take him home. They have been together now for three years and suit each other very well.
